Colemans Craft Warehouse ATC CLUB

What are ATC's - ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards which are miniature art works with a finished size of 2.5" x 3.5" (64mm x 89mm).

ATC's are produced by artists who work in all sorts of mediums.

ATC's cannot be sold they can only be swapped with willing participants.

The History of ATC's - circa 1997, M. Vanci Stirnemann exhibited around 1200 miniature works of art produced at his gallery & bookstore in Zurich, Switzerland.

An artist named Don Mabie, who had visited the Zurich exhibition, joined forces with M. Vanci Stirnemann to mount an event in Calgary, Canada in 2000. The exhibition was called "The First International Biennial of Artist Trading Cards". Work from 80 artists from 10 countries was shown.

Colemans Craft Warehouse ATC CLUB - provides an opportunity for you to trade your ATC's. Simply come along to our Big Demonstration Day (usually on the last Saturday of the month) and ask for a ATC Club Swapper's badge this will identify you as having ATC's to trade.

Monthly Theme - each month we will also nominate an ATC theme. The theme for September is House Mouse .

If you choose to produce a card(s) on these subjects you can also enter our monthly ATC competition - the top three cards (as judged by our Head Craft Demonstrator, Suzie Candlin) will be scanned & posted on this page.
